Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Argumentation(KALIA) Scheme has been launched by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik for the benefit of 92% of Odisha Farmers. It is said to be a big move by Odisha CM before 2019 election. The Government has set an earmark of Rs 10,180 Cr for KALIA in three years. KALIA Scheme is to provide financial,livelihood,cultivation and insurance support to marginal and landless farmers of the state.

Although, Odisha Government has already provided all the details about the KALIA Scheme yet we are here to give you all the information related to KALIA Scheme of Odisha Government.

Eligibility criteria for KALIA Scheme:

All the small and marginal farmers(own 2.5-5 acre arable land), Landless cultivators, landless laborers can apply for KALIA yojana.

Benefits under KALIA Yojana

Marginal and Small cultivators will get Financial aid of Rs 25000 per farm per family to buy Seeds, Fertilizers ans pesticides.

Landless household will get Rs 12500 to agriculture activities.(Goat Rearing, Bee keeping, fisherman, Poultry or duckery units,mushroom cultivation)

Around Lakhs Family of landless laborers vulnerable Agriculture household to be given a Financial aid of Rs 10000 per family per year to take care their sustenance.

Life insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh to be given to all the savings account holders at a nominal premium of Rs 330 per year.

Accidental Insurance cover of Rs 2 Lkh to be given to all the Savings account holders at a Nominal Premium of Rs 12 Per year.

Interest Free Crop Loan Under KALIA Scheme of Rs 50000 to be offered from this kharif season 2019.
