Liyan Khan is a fine, dependable and stylish opening batsman and  has played for the Karnataka U-19, U-23 U-25 and Karnataka A Teams. He has scored SIX valuable centuries for Karnataka in the Col CK Nayudu Trophy U-19, U-23, U-25 and Karnataka A” teams. During 2013-14 , playing for President’s XI, he displayed  tremendous potential by scoring  three centuries in four matches for  the S. A. Srinivasan Trophy ( Inter Zonal U-25) tournament at Bengaluru.

Liyan Khan has done early schooling from the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute , New Delhi and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hebbal, Bengaluru. He has also excelled in Academics at the  Jain University, Bengaluru  and was awarded “Gold Medal “ for securing highest marks in his Masters in Financial Management Degree.

Liyan was an important member of the Jain University team which won the All India Inter-University Cricket Championship for Rohington Baria Trophy and the Toyota University’s Cricket Championship (TUCC) . Some of the best catches in TUCC and in Rohington Baria were held by him

With a hunger to succeed and excel, Liyan has  left no stone unturned to deliver exceptionally marking a half century in his debut  in the Karnataka Premier League KPL 2017
